What kind of firewood will I receive?
Our firewood is a 100% hardwood mix of oak, maple, hickory and other dense hardwoods. Logs are cut to a standard 16-inch length and seasoned to a moisture content of 20% or less.
How much wood is in a full or half cord?
A full cord measures 128 cubic feet when neatly stacked. A half cord is half that amount: 64 cubic feet. These are stacked measurements, rather than the space occupied by a loose pile. Confirm the quantity and dimensions when ordering a face cord or bagged option.
What information should I have ready to order?
Tell us the quantity or product you have in mind and whether you prefer pickup or delivery. For delivery, include your address and any access details you want us to know. We’ll discuss pricing, availability and arrangements with you.

Our standard logs are 16 inches long. Check your appliance’s manual or firebox measurements before ordering to make sure this length works for your setup.
How should I store firewood after pickup or delivery?
Stack it off the ground and leave space for air to circulate. Protect the top from rain and snow while keeping the sides open. This helps protect your seasoned wood from weather while allowing it to breathe. See the EPA’s firewood storage guidance.
Can I take firewood to a campsite or another property?
Confirm your destination when ordering. New York limits how far untreated firewood can be moved, and the wood’s source matters. Check the current New York DEC firewood guidance before transporting it.
